Break Free is an acne and anti-blemish range which targets the causes of breakouts, reduces pore size and defends against pollution.  

This skincare for acne prone skin contains natural ingredients such as Alpine Willowherb, Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, and Bakuchiol to boost exfoliation and help protect against blemishes and breakouts. 

All the products in the range have been created as a remedy for blemish prone skin. 

Breakouts and blemishes can form a cycle where what you do to cleanse the skin and remove excess oil actually stimulates oil production.

That’s why we developed a special oil free gel wash to remove impurities and excess oil without over stimulating oil production. It’s packed with botanicals that help balance oil production and manage pore size (Alpine Willowherb), clarify congested pores and boost exfoliation (1% Salicylic Acid from Willow Bark) and soothes irritation (Organic Aloe Vera).

Key Ingredients

Alpine flower

The rare Alpine flower and adaptogen Alpine Willowherb breaks the cycle that contributes to overly oily skin, reducing the over production of oil by 55% and reducing the appearance of pores by 18% (in vivo) in 4 weeks.

Willow bark

Willow bark from the North American Black Willow Tree is rich in tannins and salicylic acid-like materials. Salicylic acid enhances skin cell turnover which gives a general improvement in the smoothness of skin which also results in a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Willow Bark has been clinically proven to possess anti-microbial properties and boost cellular renewal (24% vs 22% for synthetic salicylic acid). It is also found to be non irritating in comparison to synthetic salicylic acid.

Use

Adaptology products do not contain:

Parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, PEGs, animal derived ingredients, artificial fragrances, artificial colors, aggressive cleaning agents or other unhealthy toxins.

Packaging

We use Miron Glass to preserve the quality and potency of the bio-correcting ingredients found throughout the Adaptology range.

Miron glass is very dark purple and this means that it blocks all visible light, except UVA and Infrared, from entering the bottle and affecting the natural product inside.

In nature, sunlight is essential to enable plants to grow, however it also plays a role in accelerating the molecular decaying process once a plant has reached maturity.

The same acceleration decay applies to natural skincare products that aren’t protected by Miron glass.
