That’s why we made our blemish treating gel serum for combination skin. It comes packed with actives to reduces the signs of breakouts and blemishes (Bakuchiol a natural Bio Retinol and 4% Niacinamide ) while also clarifying congested pores and boosting exfoliation (1% Salicylic Acid from Willow Bark ).

NIACINAMIDE
Niacinamide is needed by your skin to make several enzymes (NAD+ and NADP) that are used in reactions that repair damage, make new cells and function in a healthy manner. We get Niacin from vitamin B rich foods - such as tuna, peanuts and avocado - but the body does not store it so we need fresh supplies every day. Niacinamide provides natural anti inflammatory and antioxidant protection. Applied to skin it can also increase the production of Ceramides - the lipids that form skin’s protective barrier. Because it is a building block of healthy skin, Niacin has claimed benefits for blemish clearing, minimising enlarged pores, smoothing wrinkles, improving uneven skin tone, diminishing dullness. All signs that your skin has exactly what it needs to find its own natural healthy balance.
The Results? 4% Niacinamide further boosts blemish clearing; AGING: Niacinamide reduces the appearance of wrinkles by 51%.
SALICYLIC ACID
Salicylic acid enhances skin cell turnover which gives a general improvement in the smoothness of skin which also results in a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It has been clinically proven to possess anti-microbial properties and boost cellular renewal (24% vs 22% for synthetic salicylic acid). Salicylic acid from willow bark is also found to be non irritating in comparison to synthetic salicylic acid.
BAKUCHIOL
Skin ageing can be triggered by UV light (‘photo ageing’). High altitude flowers can help. Bakuchiol is extracted from Babchi seeds - a hardy purple flower native to the Himalayas, where air is thin and UV rays strong. Babchi developed self protective antioxidants to adapt and thrive in these conditions and has been used in Chinese medicine for millennia.
Bakuchiol offers a skin-friendly rival to retinol that avoids irritating sensitive skin. It helps to reduce the appearance of blemishes whilst improving multiple signs of ageing, including wrinkles and skin redness. The results: In clinical tests, improved wrinkle depth, fine lines, pigmentation, elasticity and firmness.
Parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, PEGs, animal derived ingredients, artificial fragrances, artificial colors, aggressive cleaning agents or other unhealthy toxins.
We use Miron Glass to preserve the quality and potency of the bio-correcting ingredients found throughout the Adaptology range.
Miron glass is very dark purple and this means that it blocks all visible light, except UVA and Infrared, from entering the bottle and affecting the natural product inside.
In nature, sunlight is essential to enable plants to grow, however it also plays a role in accelerating the molecular decaying process once a plant has reached maturity.
The same acceleration decay applies to natural skincare products that aren’t protected by Miron glass.
