Najel Aleppo Red Clay Facial Mask 150g
Extracted from a quarry in the Auvergne near Puy-en-Velay, NAJEL Cosmos Natural red clay is 100% natural. Rich in the trace elements and mineral salts required for good skin health, red clay cleans and remineralises the skin and repairs and purifies it to leave your complexion radiant.
Its red colour stems from its high iron oxide content. Well-known for its absorbent power, red clay eliminates impurities and cleans the pores. It’s used mainly as a base for masks and body wraps, but is also widely used for making make-up (powder, foundation, blusher or eye shadow).
Red clay is suitable for all skin types for care of the and hair.
It’s a complexion treatment bringing brightness to dull complexions and reducing blemishes. Its remineralising and detoxifying action helps your skin recover its balance and vitality. Its natural red colour adds radiance to your complexion from the first time you use it.
Clay is mainly used mixed with water to make masks to apply to the required area, on the face or hair.
Useful tip: to avoid neutralising some of the properties of the clay, make your masks in ceramic, wooden or plastic bowls rather than metal ones.
Packed in a natural satin PP pot with a lid and seal.
Usage:
Mix two teaspoons of red clay powder with a little water and mix until a smooth paste forms. Apply the mask to a cleansed face and let it work for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Adapted to all skin types, red clay is mainly used diluted in water to make masks for the face and hair.
In the bath: pour a handful of clay into a hot bath to encourage blood circulation and soothe aching muscles.
To avoid neutralising some of the properties of the clay, make your masks in ceramic, wooden or plastic bowls rather than metal ones.
About Najel
The AL NAJJAR family has been making authentic Aleppo Soap since 1895 in keeping with ancestral artisanal know-how. Aleppo Soap was the first hard soap and has been manufactured for centuries. It is the ancestor of Marseille soap. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the family's soap factory.
Each year from late November to late March, production of the world’s first hard soap starts over again following an unchanged process. The soaps then dry for at least nine months. During this period, the soaps oxidize on the surface and take on a yellow/beige color, whilst the heart of the soap retains the green color of the oils that make it.
Najel’s Aleppo Soap is made from olive oil and bay laurel oil. Saponified olive oil is a powerful cleanser which nourishes, protects and softens skin. Bay laurel oil is known for its disinfectant and regenerative properties. The higher its concentration, the more the soap soothes irritated or problem skin.
