Our Bento Two is the perfect snack box for morning tea or snacks on the go. Lightweight and little enough for the smallest hands!

The Bento Two has 2 compartments inside and comes with a removable divider included. 

The individually sealed, leakproof* compartments in the Bento Two allow you to pack dry food next to wet food such as yoghurt and dip without the risk of spoiling. This makes it perfect for snacks like crackers & dip or granola & yoghurt!

You can add our Silicone Bento Cups for even easier clean up at the end of the day, or to divide the two compartments into more sections! Did we mention our Bento Boxes and Bento Accessories are top-rack dishwasher-safe?

• This easy clean lunch box has a child friendly latch and is made from durable BPA free products.
• The removable and adjustable divider can be used in either of the two compartments allowing the flexibility to separate dry foods of difference shapes and sizes. Please note the divider does not create a leakproof barrier.

The Bento Three and Five lunch boxes are leakproof for wet foods only, like thick dips and yoghurts, thicker sauces etc. They are NOT leak proof for liquids. For that reason, foods such as watermelon and citrus fruits may need a paper towel folded up at the bottom to soak up any additional liquids to prevent liquids from crossing over to other compartments of the lunch box.

FAQ's

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE BENTO TWO AND OTHER BENTO BOXES?

As well as being the smallest of all our Bento Boxes, the Bento Two has a different configuration inside.

The Bento Two has 2 compartments inside and comes with a removable divider included. 

The Bento Five has 5 compartments, and the Bento Three and Three+ have 3.

HOW DO I USE MY LUNCH BOX?

Our Bento Two lunch box is a light, compact snackbox. It comes with a removable divider* which allows you to separate the two compartments into three for more variety. When inserting the removable divider please ensure that the arrow on the underside of the divider is pointing towards the inside of the lunch box. For bigger appetites it’s a great option to be packed alongside a Bento Three or Five.

You can also add our Bento Dividers or Bento Cups to pack more variety in the lunch box. 

‘Wet’ foods such as dips and yoghurt can be safely packed next to dry foods in our Bento lunch boxes by following our  Bento Lunch Box Packing Instructions. 

Bento Two Boxes can be hand washed or washed on the top rack of the dishwasher after each use and then left to air dry. 

HOW MUCH FOOD DOES THE LUNCH BOX HOLD?

The Bento Two lunch boxes hold 500mL which is 2 cups of food.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY LUNCH BOX?

Little Lunch Box Co products are all made of durable hard wearing BPA-free, food safe materials. We recommend hand washing in hot soapy water and drying in an open, upright (like a tent) position overnight. 

HOW DO I STORE MY LUNCH BOX?

We recommend that you always store your lunch box with the lid open when not in use to allow the seal to fully dry. Storing your lunch box with the lid closed can result in mould growth. 

CAN I PRE-PACK THE LUNCH BOX THE NIGHT BEFORE?

Yes! Because each compartment is airtight, our Bento lunch boxes can be packed the night before and kept in the fridge ready to go in the morning.

IS THE LUNCH BOX LEAKPROOF? 

The Bento Two lunch boxes are leakproof for wet foods only, like dips and yoghurts, thicker sauces etc. They are NOT leak proof for liquids. For that reason, foods such as watermelon and citrus fruits may need a paper towel folded up at the bottom to soak up any additional liquids to prevent liquids from crossing over to other compartments of the lunch box. 

Cleaning instructions

Little Lunch Box Co products are all made of durable hard wearing BPA-free, food safe materials. We recommend hand washing in hot soapy water and drying in an open, upright (like a tent) position overnight. 

The Bento boxes are top-rack dishwasher safe at 45 degrees which is a cooler setting than most dishwasher cycles. Please wipe any extra moisture from the inside and outside of the lunch box after the dishwashing cycle is complete. Hotter cycles may cause the lunch box to warp. Hand washing is recommended if you run your dishwasher on a hotter cycle.

We recommend that you always store your lunch box with the lid open when not in use to allow the seal to fully dry. Storing your lunch box with the lid closed can result in mould growth.
