After washing it is important to treat your hair with a Conditioner Bar. Your hair scales open up after washing and a conditioner closes them again. This Conditioner Bar contains Shea Butter, which is rich in vitamins A and E, which provides extra hydration to the hair. The added coconut oil also contains vitamin E and revitalizes the scalp. The added vegetable Keratin is known to bring and keep the hair in good condition. It repairs where necessary and gives a healthy shine to your hair.
The scent of eucalyptus is generally described as refreshing, stimulating and spicy with notes of camphor and mint. You imagine yourself in a Spa with this wonderful scent.

Why is a Conditioner Bar important?
When you wash your hair, your hair cuticles open. It is just important to close the hair cuticles again after washing. Not only to reduce frizz, but also to protect it against external influences. Your hair is very vulnerable when the hair cuticles are open. A Conditioner Bar closes the hair cuticles and makes it easy to comb.
Use
Make sure your hair and hands are wet. You can then foam the Shampoo Bar by rubbing it between your hands or rubbing the Shampoo Bar directly into the wet hair. Massage the foam into the hair. Finally, rinse your hair.
Tips
RINSE YOUR HAIR WITH COLD/LUKE WARM WATER
We know, it is especially spicy in winter. But cold/lukewarm water ensures that your hair cuticles close. And this in turn ensures that your hair becomes less frizzy and dull.
USE HAIR OIL FOR DRY HAIR
Do you have porous or dry hair? Then it can help to use hair oil before combing. Don't use too much because it will become too greasy again; often spreading a few drops over the ends is sufficient. You can use good olive oil or, for example, Argan oil for this.
What is the best way to store a Shampoo Bar?
To keep your shampoo bar in good condition and to last as long as possible, it is best to store the shampoo bar in a dry - not warm - place in the bathroom. You can use a soap board or a clean and dry washcloth for this. As long as it is a dry place. This prevents moisture from absorbing into the soap and prevents it from falling apart after a few uses.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of our Beesha Shampoo Bar and Conditioner bar?
All our products are free from Silicones, Sulphates and Parabens. We also do not use animal products and we do not test on animals. Our products are therefore all Vegan. Our products contain only the ingredients you need without the junk.
I never use a conditioner. Why is a Conditioner Bar important? When you wash your hair, your hair cuticles open. It is just important to close the hair cuticles again after washing. Not only to reduce frizz, but also to protect it against external influences. Your hair is very vulnerable when the hair cuticles are open. A Conditioner Bar closes the hair cuticles.
The pH value of our Shampoo Bars is between 5.5-6.0. That equals the pH value of your hair. So you don't have to rinse with vinegar.
Which shampoo is suitable for this?
All our Beesha Shampoo Bars and Conditioner Bars are suitable for this. Dander occurs because the oils on your scalp are damaged. The sebaceous glands regulate the balance on your scalp. Certain products can be very aggressive and penetrate the skin. They remove the natural oils from the skin and cause flaking or itching and irritation.
The main causes of dry skin are sulphates such as Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). These are found in many liquid shampoos and in some brands of Shampoo Bars. These are extremely aggressive and penetrate the skin. They are also super degreasers. They remove the natural oils from your (scalp) skin.
Our shampoo and conditioners are sulfate-free and keep the oils on the skin alone. It may be that, because your skin may be very dry at the moment, your skin needs some time to get used to a Shampoo Bar. The sebaceous glands will pick this up automatically. This can take several days to about 10 days. But for most people things go well right away and they have an immediate effect.
So you can feel free to choose based on your hair type. We may have sample packages in our range if you would like to try it. With 1 package you can wash your hair an average of 10-15 times. Enough to see if the product suits you.
We use Vitamin B5, Vegetable Keratin, Wheat and Rice Protein. Each has its own characteristic. It's just what your hair needs.
– Vitamin B5 has a moisturizing effect (retains moisture and prevents dehydration). It adheres well to the hair follicles and makes the hair smoother and easier to comb.
– Vegetable Keratin is known to bring and keep the hair in good condition. It repairs where necessary and gives a healthy shine to your hair. Our Keratin is 100% vegetable. It is a combination of corn, soy and wheat proteins.
– Wheat protein has a light moisturizing capacity and is a mild conditioner. It repairs damaged hair and forms a thin layer that makes the hair shiny and easier to comb. This layer also protects against salt water, sun and blow-drying that is too hot.
– Rice proteins act like a true sponge and swell when they come into contact with water. They help maintain the hair's natural moisture and provide a voluminous effect.
We use hydrolyzed wheat. This means that the wheat is made into very small protein particles. This makes it unrecognizable to the body and makes it hypoallergenic.
I have colored hair, is there also a shampoo for that?
Our shampoo and conditioner do not contain aggressive cleaning agents that can fade the color. Your color also stays beautiful longer. The proteins care for and hydrate the hair and the vitamins from the butters in the shampoo/conditioner nourish the scalp that has had to endure a lot after dyeing. It is so mild that you can safely choose by hair type (dry, fine, oily).
I have sensitive skin/eczema, is this shampoo suitable?
Our shampoo and conditioner are very mild in themselves. They do not contain harsh chemical cleaning agents such as regular shampoo and conditioner. These cleaning products are often the reason that they dry out your skin and cause irritation.
We only use natural, plant-based ingredients. Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E in our coconut and shea butter care for the scalp. The added natural protein gives your hair the care it needs.
Do you also have shampoo for people with an allergy to Cocamidopropyl Betaine, perfume or dye?
Of course! Our Natural shampoo bar is especially for people with an allergy to fragrances, dyes and the substance called Cocamidopropyl Betaine. All our conditioners are free of Cocamidopropyl Betaine.
Is your shampoo suitable for children?
Of course! All our shampoo/conditioner can be used by children. It also doesn't sting the eyes.
What is the difference between SLS and SLSa?
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is an aggressive foaming agent that is widely used in shampoo, shower gels and even in our toothpaste. It is a chemical product that is often used in cosmetics.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa) is completely plant-based. It is a fine powder made from coconut oil and palm oil.
Because the names are so similar, they are often confused. But other than the similarity in name, they have nothing in common. We only use SLSa and not SLS.
Why do you use palm oil?
We use a small percentage of palm oil. This is because we make sulfate-free shampoo bars. Many shampoo bars that are palm oil free do contain sulfates such as Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS).
Sulfates are a compound consisting of acid residues of sulfuric acid and its salts. It consists of a water-soluble part and an oil-soluble part. The oil-soluble part adheres to dirt and then the water-soluble part ensures that the dirt dissolves in water. It produces fine foam, it degreases, but above all it is cheap. But there are also disadvantages: it dries out, is more likely to cause irritation and, above all, it is bad for the environment.
The palm oil we use is only 7% of our total ingredients compared to more than 70% sulfate-free Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI). If we did not use palm oil, we would make a shampoo bar with more than 70% residual hydrochloric acid to get the same effect. We think the choice was quickly made.
My shampoo bar breaks, what now?
There does indeed come a point where the bar becomes thin and can break. Unfortunately, you cannot avoid that. The shampoo can still be fully used, for example with a soap bag (some customers use pantyhose or washcloth). Rubbing the bag creates foam and you can still use the bar 100% and you don't have to throw anything away. https://beesha.nl/natuurlijk-zeepzak-bamboe/
There are customers who are also handy with re-melting the bar. They save the little pieces. Warm up in the microwave or in a bain-marie. Do not melt until it is liquid, but until it is just soft enough that it has a malleable clay substance. You can then mold the bar into the shape you want. Let it harden for 2 days and then you can use it again.
Getting used to Shampoo Bar
How quickly you get used to a hair soap depends on how often you wash your hair. For some people, a shampoo bar works perfectly right away. But on average it takes about 2-4 weeks. If you have washed your hair with synthetic and often aggressive products for years, your hair and scalp simply need to recover. After washing a few times, your hair may feel a bit greasy. If you have been using shampoo bars for a while, you will notice that they have more volume.

About Beesha
In 2019, Beesha started developing its own Shampoo Bars, at a time when the supply was limited and the quality was often substandard, with aggressive ingredients or excessive imports from the East. Beesha opted for a production process in Almere, with an emphasis on natural ingredients such as Shea Butter and essential oils. The range expanded to Body Butters, Lip Balms and more, with a focus on zero-waste processes, eco-friendly packaging and handmade products, all to minimize the carbon footprint.
