Werfzeep Shampoo Bar

This shampoo bar gently cleanses your hair. Avocado, castor and neem oil keep your scalp healthy and in the absence of synthetic smoothers your hair regains its natural volume. This hair soap smells of the combination of neem oil, eucalyptus, lavender and carrot and coriander seeds. Honey makes your hair nice and soft.

The shampoo can be used by rubbing the bar of soap over your hair, this produces a lot of foam. You can also be less thorough by foaming the soap between your hands and then massaging the foam through your hair.

It may take a while before it pleases, although most hairstyles are immediately happy with it. Rinsing with apple cider vinegar helps many people to prevent soap with lime from being left out of the water. If your hair feels a bit rough after washing it probably has to do with lime, you can remedy it this way. In addition, apple cider vinegar also gives shine and is very healthy for your scalp.

Sodium lauryl / laureth sulphate, parabens, alcohol (ethyl alcohol / ethanol), methyl isothiazolinone, methylchloroisothiazolinone, lanolin, propylene glycol, silicone, synthetic perfume, PABA sunscreen, petrochemicals, colorants, DEA, TEA, PEGs and all other optional synthetic additives.

About Werfzeep

Werfzeep was created in 2009 from Evelien's preference for old crafts and natural products. During a trip through Canada that she and Laurens made, she ended up on an idyllic family farm where soap was made, with a ladle and a huge pan. The wooden house smelled like a fairytale and immediately the first day Evelien helped make soap. To her surprise, this handmade soap that lay in the shower and by the sink was gentle and caring for her skin. From childhood infested with eczema, soap had been out of the question for years, but this soap turned out to be a very different story from everything she had been acquainted with until then and which mainly gave her a tight skin.

Soap made from oils is a completely different product from factory soap made from refined fatty acids, with additives such as foam improvers, synthetic perfumes and preservatives, from which the glycerine is also skimmed. This discovery was enough for Evelien to completely fall under the spell of soap, artisanal soap, all possible ingredients and the effect on the skin. She started to develop her soaps in a historic wharf cellar on the Oudegracht in Utrecht. Now, eight years later, she works with a growing team in the beautiful soap studio on the Westerkade.
