This gentle balm based cleanser removes impurities without damaging the fragile skin barrier layer, turning to an easily rinsable milk on contact with water. Laminaria helps to reduce the signs of irritation and redness and reinforces the skin barrier. Organic Nigella Oil nourishes soothes and protects.

We call this the sympathiser. Cleansing sensitive skin should be supportive and soothing, rather than stripping its defenses or setting it off.

That’s why we developed a sensitive cleansing balm to boost - not blast - the skin barrier, packed with botanicals to reduce the redness (Laminaria), calm your skin (Blue Tansy), protect, nourish and give it some love (Nigella Oil).

Key Ingredients

BLUE TANSY

This ingredient is great for calming inflammation and reducing redness. Blue Tansy comes from a flower known as Moroccan Chamomile. It’s an absolute boon when it comes to sensitive skin. Funnily enough the flower is yellow, but its oil gets its blue colour from chamazulene which has anti-inflammatory properties that can help with acne and irritated skin conditions.

It also is hydrating, nourishing, softening and soothing. Blue Tansy is often used as an heavenly scented aromatherapy oil, associated with anti-anxiety effects. The Results: clinical tests on Blue Tansy oil confirm it contains compounds that are “Anti-Inflammatory, Antioxidant, Antibiotic”.

Use

Adaptology products do not contain:

Parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, PEGs, animal derived ingredients, artificial fragrances, artificial colors, aggressive cleaning agents or other unhealthy toxins.

Packaging

We use Miron Glass to preserve the quality and potency of the bio-correcting ingredients found throughout the Adaptology range.

Miron glass is very dark purple and this means that it blocks all visible light, except UVA and Infrared, from entering the bottle and affecting the natural product inside.

In nature, sunlight is essential to enable plants to grow, however it also plays a role in accelerating the molecular decaying process once a plant has reached maturity.

The same acceleration decay applies to natural skincare products that aren’t protected by Miron glass.
